IN ADDITION TO 5 JUNIOR WORLD WINS IN LESS THAN 5 YEARS OUR STUDENTS ALSO WON THE LAST 3 BC JUNIOR GIRLS CHAMPIONSHIPS IN 2017-2018-2019 AND 2 NATIONAL TITLES!
“Ours son Adam has been coached by Rob for roughly twenty years and is a vital member of our support team. During our relationship Adam has excelled at every level of the game locally and internationally. Adam won over 100 tournaments as a junior including two Canadian National and Provincial Championships. Under Rob’s direction Adam became the only Canadian boy to ever win an IMG/Callaway Junior World Championship and at age 17.
At Adam’s first Web.com tour Q -School he was the winner by 7 strokes then went on in 2019 to fulfill his long term dream to earn a PGA Tour card. Needless to say we can confidently encourage anyone to put 100% of your trust in Rob and his team. You will never find better direction or 24/7 support from anyone.

Nick Taylor and I started together in 2006 , shortly after that he won the Canadian Junior and then the Men’s Amateur. Then through University where he became NCAA Player of the year and world # 1 on the WAGR. We worked together through Canadian Tour and Web.com earning his PGA Tour start. In 2015 he won his first PGA Tour event in his rookie season at the Sanderson Farms. In 2016 Nick moved to Arizona to follow the tour where he continues his great career, winning again in 2020. Our ten years together was a great experience for me to play a role in Nick’s success along with the other members of his support team.

Rob has been instrumental to my development as a player. He has helped me achieve my yearly goals and improve steadily year after year. Through Rob’s help, I was able to be a part of Team Canada and excel in numerous amateur events around the world. Rob constantly uses the vast wealth of knowledge that he has gained through high level competition and coaching elite athletes. These tried and true techniques are adapted to the player, helping bring out the best of their abilities.
” My daughter Michelle Liu started with Rob at age 6 and at age 10 Michelle won both the IMG and US Kids Junior World Championships the same year. Rob was there for Michelle caddying in both events! In 2019 Michelle became the youngest player in history to compete in an LPGA Tour event, and again Rob was caddying for her. Then Michelle became the youngest player in history to win low Canadian at the 2019 Canadian Women’s Amateur at age 12. My older daughter Lucy is coached by Rob and got into Yale University and play for the women’s golf team. It is impossible to express the amount of appreciation we have for Rob and his team.”

“I started learning golf with Rob when I was 8 years old. After 5 years I appreciate how he keeps finding ways to help me become better every year. His path has lead me to a win the Callaway Junior International Championship and also a close Runner-Up at the IMG Junior Worlds plus many other wins. I know we will continue to achieve more success in the future years and I feel confident I will get into a great university golf team.”

Rob will always be the coach that helped me excel from a young teen all the way to University. With his unparalleled coaching , I was able to win numerous key tournaments. I was also able to play for Team Canada and Stanford University.
Throughout my high-school golf career, Rob was the cornerstone of my success. He is one of the most technically-sound coaches, from putting to full swing. Moreover, Rob is a phenomenal mental coach, a feature that often goes unnoticed. I have always had trouble scoring if my swing went awry, but Rob guided me to overcome the hurdle and helped me score despite the condition of my golf swing. Rob also uses the newest technologies, such as Trackman and Sam Putt Lab, which gives me the feedback I need to improve my game. Thank you, Rob, for helping me get this far, and I wish you success with the academy.
” My older daughter Lucy is coached by Rob. Lucy got into Yale University Women’s Golf Team directly as a result of Rob’s coaching. he gave her the skills and confidence to reach high and obtain her goals. It is impossible to express the amount of appreciation we have for Rob .”

We are forever grateful to have worked with such amazing people.”

Without Rob and Coach Matt, Angela wouldn’t be the place she is at now. She won multiple junior championships at the provincial, regional, national, and international level. Now she is playing at an Ivy league university team—Dartmouth Women’s team —- while pursuing her academic success. She is recognized as the athlete of the month at Dartmouth after she brought her team to historic record by shooting the lowest three day tournament score in program history. Thanks again to Rob and Ivy Golf Academy.

“In 2015 I was looking for the Gold Standard of golf instruction for our daughter Leah John and found it . Coach Rob Houlding enabled our daughter to reach her golf dreams for college. In 2018 Leah was runner up in the BC Junior Girls, has won multiple club championships and then received a full ride scholarship at University of Nevada Reno. Can’t say enough great things about this group.

I started getting coached by Rob at age ten and within two years started winning tournaments including the 2012 BC Juvenile. Over the next 8 years I enjoyed a lot of success in AJGA and Canadian events and on my University of Washington team as the lead player. Rob was responsible for helping me get recruited to University of Washington Men’s Golf Team. He has always been there for me and I would encourage anyone with high goals in golf to see him. – Henry Lee
“I joined Rob 5 years ago as a relative beginner. I am now a member of Golf Canada’s National Junior Squad. A highlight from last year is winning the Future Links Ontario Championship. Tyler Mcneil and Rob have worked closely together for my development and I have been given great support. This a great platform for all aspiring athletes who want to pursue their golf passion. .”

My son William had quit competitive golf in 2015. After a year off we took him to meet Rob and his team in 2016. Rob not only helped regain William’s interest in golf again but also enabled William to improve beyond his original skill level. With Rob’s help, William was able to finish Top 20 in the 2018 US Kids Junior World Championship and qualify for the Van Horn Cup. He has recently qualified for AJGA events and won numerous MJT and CJGA events. We are very thankful we found Rob and his team!
